MRSA is the staph bacteria that is immune to most of the antibiotics and therefore can be perilous to life also. It is more common in hospitals because it enters the body through wounds or tubes after a surgery or admission in hospital after a serious ailment.

The hand sanitizers we use are also a cause of the spread of this infection. The alcohol based sanitizers kill both the good and the bad germs and leave the skin dry which causes cracks in the surface of the skin allowing the bacteria one more way of entering the body.
